Members of the chart-topping mega groups are teaming up to make a "zombie Western futuristic" horror flick called Dead 7.
Speaking to Rolling Stone about the film, boybander-turned-actor Nick Carter, 35, said: "My character is still being worked out right now, but I'm a good guy that's going to help save the day".
The film is already packed with pop star talent, with fellow Backstreet Boy AJ McLean, 37, on board along with former N*Sync singer Joey Fatone, 38.
Joey added: "We've never done anything together collectively. People always think [we're] some sort of rivals. But it's so funny - there's never been animosity or anything like that. Now we're setting the record straight by doing a film together."
And if that's not enough, Nick has also asked One Direction star Niall Horan to take part.
He asked the Irish star, 21, to play his baby brother in horror flick, tweeting: "I know we're from different generations but would you like to play my brother in this zombie movie?"
Niall has yet to reply. Give him a few days, then take the silence as a 'no'.
The official synopsis of Dead 7 reads: "Dead 7 is the story of a ragtag band of gunslingers who must rid a small town of a zombie plague in a post-apocalyptic West.
"Carter will play Jack, the reluctant hero who unites the outlaws to face the zombie menace."
It will be made by the production company that gave the world Sharknado.
No date has been scheduled for release.
