Two teenagers have been arrested in Oklahoma after the bodies of five people, believed to be relatives, were found at a house.
Broken Arrow Police Sergeant Thomas Cooper said officers
went to an address on Wednesday night after an "open 911" call where the
caller did not speak.Officers found the five victims, who had all been stabbed to death and were adults and children, at the house and a girl who was still alive was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Sgt Cooper said a 16-year-old male and an 18-year-old male, who are both related to the victims, were arrested.
The suspects fled the home, but a tracking dog found them, he added.
He told NBC News: "This is a relatively safe community, smaller than Tulsa and what you might call a bedroom community.
"The crime scene has taken a pretty heavy toll on officers who have come out here.
"It hits close to home, especially when the victims are adults and juveniles. Our officers have a lot to take in."
The case has been ruled a homicide investigation.
